With art festivals canceled this summer due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, I've turned to the virtual world. A jewelry friend of mine, Vicki Prussak of Carry Your Message, and I created a virtual art festival on Facebook. It's called Towpath Online Art Fest.
For the last three months, we held a show featuring videos from artists giving tours of their booths or studios. To make this happen, I've tapped into years as a Producer/Videographer to teach artists how to make a simple with their phone. Vicki has tapped into her experience doing Marketing to help promote the the show. Each month we've learned how to improve the experience for the viewer and make changes as needed. We are thrilled to hear from people watching the videos how they are getting to know the artists and our artists are making sales too.
