Another one in my Flag series. The Democracy Flag focuses on elections, voting and Democracy in the United States. This one includes quotes about voting from Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Walter Cronkite, John F. Kennedy, Sandra Day O'Conner, Abraham Lincoln, Susan B. Anthony, George Carlin, Thomas Jefferson, Dwight D. Eisenhower and more.
There are a lot of images to look for in this collage. You'll find clothing, a bulldog, Ben Franklin, hands, buckles, parts of money, meatballs, raspberries, hot peppers, the Statue of Liberty, and words from various constitutional amendments,
- *NOTE on PRINT SIZE: Because of the size of the original, this print is a non-standard size of 11" x 16".
Original artwork is created from magazine pages and glued onto a stretched canvas topped with protective layers. Each is signed, mounted in a black floating frame unless noted, and is ready for hanging with attached hardware. A certificate of Authenticity will be included with the original along with care instructions.
Prints are limited editions giclees printed on 100% cotton, acid free, archival matte paper. Pigmented inks are used for vivid colors and longer lifespan. Each is numbered, signed by the artist, limited to 250, printed with a white border and mounted on acid free mat board.
- NOTE: Prints 16x20 and larger, will not have the mat board and will be shipped rolled in a tube. My local printer, who does the printing for this size has moved. To keep prices lower, this size is not signed or numbered. The print will ship directly from his gallery.
- Prints are usually ready to ship in 3-5 business days. They are mailed in a large flat mailer via USPS. Extra large prints without mats are shipped in a mailing tube. If, for any reason, it may take longer, you will be notified by email.
Please Note: The purchase price is for the physical artwork and does not include permission for the copyright. The Artist retains the copyright and reserves all reproduction rights. It may not be reproduced in any manner without the express written consent of the Artist.
- *Another note: I noticed the colors of the flag in these photos look different on different computers. Perhaps a little over saturated? The print will look good, the same as the original. - Deborah
